About Billing
Vertex Anesthesia will be providing the anesthesia services for your upcoming procedure. After we have completed the procedure, we file the claim with the specified insurance agency (and/or any secondary insurance provided) on your behalf. If your procedure is covered, your insurance company may decide to separate the bill into two parts; a Medical Doctor (MD) line item and a “CRNA” or anesthesia nurse provider line item. You should receive an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company. THIS IS NOT A BILL. DO NOT PAY. We work to negotiate the price with your insurance company, so please do not worry when receiving this document. You will not be required to pay until you receive the final bill from Vertex Anesthesia.
Questions about your bill or payment options should be asked of the billing company on your bill. The surgical office will not have any information regarding Vertex Anesthesia bill.
